The 2nd step towards immunity from crime!
First we:
This course is unique in that the material presented isn't strictly "informational", it's conceptual. Although you'll develop defensive/tactical skills, the course is designed to change the way you think about those skills. For example, how do professional athletes not choke under pressure/stress in a nationally televised game? You can have greatest skills in the world, but what good are they if you can't control them under stress.
In other words, you will leave understanding why your "typical" day at the range (shooting at paper targets in controlled environment) does very little to prepare your body physically and mentally for the stress & adrenaline dump during a violent encounter.
First we:
- Identify stress & fear and how our bodies respond to it- physically & psychologically
- Realize that NO ONE is immune to stress & fear; learn strategies to overcome this.
